MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Jan. 18, 2024 – Ducks Unlimited (DU) welcomes long-time supporter ALPS OutdoorZ as its newest Corporate Partner.

Beginning Jan. 1, the expanded partnership will see ALPS OutdoorZ producing a wide range of new co-branded, officially licensed, waterfowling gear and accessories including blind bags, backpacks, briefcases, duffle bags, dry bags, game totes, shell belts, wader bags, hand warmers, gun slings and cases, ground and layout blinds, outdoor furniture and dog blinds and vests.

Since its inception in 1993 by outdoor gear designer and company founder Dennis Brune, ALPS OutdoorZ has become an innovation and customer satisfaction leader. Founder Brune enjoyed a successful career beginning in 1978 with the technical mountaineering manufacturer Kelty. He moved from product development to sales and marketing, then to management.

Brune envisioned an outdoor company delivering high-quality performance gear priced within comfortable reach for the everyday outdoorsman and woman. This, combined with a focused attention on customer service, has been a winning combination.

Dennis and his wife, LaRayne, wanted to share their passion for the outdoors with their three children.

Those three adult children, Brian, Adam and Sarah, are transitioning into senior leadership roles with the company as their founding father moves toward retirement. This move ensures the ALPS OutdoorZ business will continue as a family business focusing on field-tested products, backed by outstanding customer service and a powerful desire to share and give back to the outdoor communities they serve.

ALPS headquarters was built out of and around the Brune home. In 2015, they officially out-grew their Lyon, Missouri, campus and purchased a 100,000-square-foot building in New Haven, Missouri, where most of their warehousing staff and products are now. In 2021, as their business grew, they built a new 55,000-square-foot facility nearby. These changes to their facilities, along with their talented and growing group of team members, have them poised for future growth and expansion.
