DU's Earl Grochau named Memphis Business Journal's CFO of the Year
DU's Chief Financial & Administrative Officer, Earl Grochau, was named Memphis Business Journal's CFO of the Year in the Large Non-profit category. The CFO Awards program is designed to honor financial professionals in Memphis and the Mid-South for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.
Earl joined Ducks Unlimited Inc. in December 2013 and provides leadership and oversight for financial and investments matters as well as overseeing legal, human resources, facilities and internal audit functions. Prior to DU, Earl served as Vice President & Corporate Controller and Vice President of Internal Audit at Ryman Hospitality Inc., formerly Gaylord Entertainment Inc. in Nashville, Tenn. He has also held various positions at Harrah's Entertainment Company, Promus Companies Inc., United Agri Products Inc., a subsidiary of ConAgra Inc. in Memphis, Tenn., and in public accounting including Arthur Andersen, LLP in New Orleans, La.
