FORT WORTH, Texas May 19, 2021 Eight duck and goose calling contests with a total purse of more than $10,000 will be held during the inaugural Ducks Unlimited Expo (DUX) presented by Purina Pro Plan on June 25-27 at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.

Sponsored by Boss Shotshells, these contests will be a highlight at the largest outdoor hunting and fishing expo in the country.

Competition begins Saturday morning, June 26, with two sanctioned regionals to qualify for the Worlds Duck Calling Championship. The Ducks Unlimited Regional and the Gulf Coast Regional will be held back-to-back as callers compete for a coveted trip to Stuttgart, Ark., in November. The grand prize for the Gulf Coast Regional winner is $1,000, while the DU Regional boasts a $5,000 payout for first place. This is the largest prize for any sanctioned contest across the country this year.

Saturday afternoon will begin the DUX Championship Series duck calling portion of the competition, and Sunday, June 27, will include individual and team competitions for both Specklebelly and Canada goose calling. All Hunter Series competitions include $500 payouts for first-place winners.

Everyone at Ducks Unlimited is excited about the inaugural Ducks Unlimited Expo presented by Purina Pro Plan, said Dana Barton, DUs director of national events. We are very fortunate to have wonderful support from our sponsors and exhibitors who want to ensure the event is a success and fun for all who attend. Thanks to the support of Boss Shotshells, we are able to host a fantastic competition for the callers and spectators alike.

Registration for the calling contests begins at noon on Friday, June 25. For more information about the contests, contact Zach Pegram at zpegram@ducks.org. For more information about DUX please visit www.duckexpo.com.
