DU and FedEx Team Up for Conservation
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Nov. 1, 2018 - Ducks Unlimited (DU) and FedEx have teamed up for conservation. FedEx is now the official shipping company of Ducks Unlimited.
As part of the collaboration, all merchandise shipped to DU events across the country will be shipped via FedEx, along with all other corporate freight and shipping needs across the DU enterprise.
"As leaders in our respective industries and with both FedEx and DU headquarters located in Memphis, it makes perfect sense the two companies work together," said DU CEO Dale Hall. "This collaboration will help maximize DU's fundraising efforts and elevate our ability to deliver wetlands conservation throughout North America. This is truly a program that benefits all involved and we are extremely happy to welcome FedEx into the DU family."
FedEx's support will contribute greatly to DU's fundraising efforts by helping to ensure on-time delivery nationwide.
"FedEx is proud to support Ducks Unlimited and the important work they do conserving wetlands in communities in North America," said Mitch Jackson, chief sustainability officer, FedEx Corp. "We believe it's our responsibility to help create long-lasting environmental improvements in order to make the world a better place for generations to come."
Ducks Unlimited Inc. is the world's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving North America's continually disappearing waterfowl habitats.
