Andrew Lundquist elected to Wetlands America Trust board of trustees
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Dec. 16, 2015 - Wetlands America Trust (WAT) recently announced the election of Andrew Lundquist to its board of trustees.
WAT is Ducks Unlimited's land trust and foundation arm and one of the largest accredited land trusts in the country. WAT plays a leading role in DU's philanthropic and public policy efforts.
"I am honored to be elected to the board of such an important and impactful conservation organization," Lundquist said. "As a passionate outdoorsman, duck hunter and conservationist, I have supported the work of DU for several years, and I could not be more proud to serve the interests of hunters, anglers and those who value water and wetlands."
Lundquist, senior vice president of government affairs for ConocoPhillips, is responsible for the company's state, federal and international policy and government affairs activities. Prior to ConocoPhillips, Lundquist was the managing partner of BlueWater Strategies LLC, a Washington, DC, based consulting firm. Prior to joining the private sector, Lundquist served in leadership roles at the White House. In 2001 he was director of the White House National Energy Policy Development Group.
Lundquist previously spent 14 years on Capitol Hill. He is a graduate of the University of Alaska and has a juris doctorate from Catholic University.
