Ten million birds come out of Québec every year

Ten million birds come out of Québec every year, and use the St. Lawrence River during the fall migration. Some of these birds return again in the spring and head into the breeding grounds. So it's critically important that they find extensive areas of wetlands, coastal marshes and near-shore habitats where they can feed, rest and gain energy for the long flights.
