You are that leader, and a DU license plate for your vehicle will show everyone on the road where you stand. But more importantly, the use of this plate benefits Arkansas habitat conservation. Either plate costs $35 per year plus a $20 personalization fee and can be ordered through the mail or are stocked for immediate purchase at most Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) offices throughout the state and at the Charles Ragland Taxpayer Services Center in Little Rock. The DFA's streamlined ordering system allows DU supporters currently owning a DU plate to renew it through their local DFA office or through the mail.

Either license plate can be personalized with up to five letters with personalization request forms available online from the DFA website for anyone who has a DU plate that would like to change to a personalized one or to order a new plate personalized.
