Third Time’s a Charm

Wisconsin chapter breaks records at its third annual event
For the past three years, Dick and Liz Uihlein have hosted the highly successful Kenosha Ducks Unlimited event at Uline headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The event draws conservation-minded business and community leaders who are active primarily in commercial real estate development, design, and construction. Many of these supporters are new to Ducks Unlimited, but the groups shared professional interests make it easy for them to band together for conservation.
With more than 240 supporters in attendance, the 2019 Kenosha event was the largest to date, raising over $300,000 for wetlands conservation. Highlights included one-of-a-kind live auction items, Major Sponsor recognitions, and a special keynote address from Wetlands America Trust board member and former Caterpillar CEO Doug Oberhelman.
This is our third year holding the event at Uline, and we could not be happier with the success we have seen. We are very thankful to the Uihleins for their support of Ducks Unlimited, said Area Chairman Chad Navis. This event would not be possible without the support of DU volunteers and chapters from around the area. Chelsea Couette is instrumental in the success of this event as well. The Kenosha DU chapter is very grateful for the support this event receives from national and local volunteers and staff.
