MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Sept. 2, 2021 - This week Ducks Unlimited Television (DU TV) takes you to Kentucky, home of DU TV sponsor Higdon Outdoors.

In this episode, co-host Doug Larsen hunts with Higdon Vice President and co-owner Ben Higdon and Brook Richard, Higdon Corporate Relations Manager, in Ballard County, Ky., on the Higdon farm in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway.

"I&squo;ve looked forward to this hunt all season,&dquo; Larsen said. "The Higdon guys are so blessed to have what they&squo;ve got here, for not just hunting but gear testing at home. These guy&squo;s minds are working all the time, always striving to make thing better. I&squo;m one of those guys too, so it&squo;s great to hunt with like-minded individuals.&dquo;

The Higdon family spends countless hours in the field testing their lines. They want their gear to be the most effective and durable waterfowl hunting products available.

"The passion for innovating in this business comes from watching the birds, watching how they react to a concept,&dquo; Higdon said. "It&squo;s so much fun to watch birds react to a new product, literally come down and get right over it and land on it. That&squo;s exciting for us and hopefully exciting for the consumer.&dquo;
