On April 19, Ducks Unlimited hosted the Annual Capitol Hill Dinner and Auction in Washington, D.C. Members of Congress, members from the Administration, congressional staff and DU staff and volunteers attend the event from around the country. This year we had over 60 member of Congress and 575 people in attendance. Former Vice President Dick Cheney, Speaker Paul Ryan, House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise were in attendance along with many other members of Congress and their staffs. Congressman Billy Long even guest auctioned three items and helped make the live auction a hit! This event is a great way to celebrate the policy successes for DU and thank legislators that support conservation and Ducks Unlimited year round!
