Dale Hall, along with members of DU staff, spent some time on Capitol Hill this month visiting with various members of Congress. These meetings are used as a vehicle to educate members about the conservation work DU is doing in their respective states. The
North American Wetland Conservation Act (NAWCA) was amongst one of the various topics discussed. Mr. Hall even highlighted specific projects that were made possible by NAWCA, illustrating the importance of federal funding to wetland conservation around the country.
