WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 29, 2024 – Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed former New York Rep. Lee Zeldin as the 17th Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
"Congratulations to Lee Zeldin on his successful confirmation to the EPA," said DU CEO Adam Putnam. "At Ducks Unlimited, we know that wetlands have an enormous impact on our environment by sequestering carbon, storing and filtering water, buffering communities from floods, and providing one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. We look forward to working together to institute policies that promote the conservation and restoration of America’s precious wetlands while strengthening the U.S. economy."
