The Brazos Valley DU Chapter had nothing short of a packed house for their banquet this past February in College Station, Texas. With more than 400 pre-sold tickets, the chapter improved its revenue by over 30 percent and gained 100 new members. Thanks to great leadership from Co-District-Chairmen Ben and Michelle Jones, the chapter added eight new committee members, resulting in more pre-sold tickets, sponsorships and underwritings.

"The increase in revenue is a direct result of the committee's focus on pre-selling tickets and having a full hall," said Michelle Jones.

The chapter has two Sportsman's Night Out events planned this calendar year. They also play a vital role in the annual Duck Jam Music Fest and Expo, also held in College Station at the end of April.

"I am very proud of this chapter's enthusiasm and commitment to DU's mission," said Cody Roberts, DU regional director. "We have a lot to look forward to as the ball continues to roll in this region."
