DU properties open to public hunting in Colorado
Each hunter must read, understand and agree to the laws, rules and regulations of the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife to hunt on DU properties in Colorado. DU regulations must also be followed. Failure to abide these regulations will result in repealing of hunting privileges on DU properties.
Winterhaven property is 819 acres in Sedgwick County. A portion of the property is leased by the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife as part of the Julesburg State Wildlife Area, also open to public hunting. Hunters must follow all CDPW hunting regulations while on the property.
The Davey property is 160 acres in Saguache County. The property is bounded to the south and east by Russell Lakes State Wildlife Area.
