Purpose: To acquire and protect 253 acres of wetland and upland habitats along the Roanoke River. The purpose of this project was to add additional acreage to the NC Wildlife Resources Commission Game Lands Program. This project provides hunting opportunities and is managed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.

Location: The project lies along Conoho Creek in Martin County approximately 4 miles north of Oak City, NC.
