i have never been turkey hunting before, but this year i have a good friend that has tons of land in western okla and he gave me permission to hunt turkey this season. i was wondering what is the best way to food save the turkey, so i can eat it all summer instead of frying it once and eating sandwiches for a week.

breast it out and save the legs and thighs too.  You can cook whatever you want off the breast on your grill.  The thighs and legs putin a crock pot with some water couple crushed bay leaves  cook untill the meat is tender,   my wife makes a pot pie out of the meat done that way.    Either way dont over spice or overtcook.   Shoot a big one  Joe
