Sorry if this has been said before, but I couldn't find it.

Don't whine and complain about how cold you are or how there's no birds working unless you invited me or you are under 15. If you accepted my invite to hunt with me, kwityer****in...:P

I try to keep my hopes really low that way if we get even one duck its better than I figured it to be. Keeps my pissing and moaning to a minimum that way. Key to success is having a low expectation that way you never over estimate the hunt. :D

Maybe I'm just different, but for me it's more about the journey than the destination. I'll sit in a deer blind from before sun up until after sunset without moving except to stretch and keep the clots to a minimum. I'll sit on the ground for hours on end waiting for tom to step out in front of my bead. So far I've not had to take Jake home instead. I'll drift a riffle for half an hour before moving upstream. And I'll lay in a blind for half a day waiting for that flight to land.

I've had the chance to see many cool things and animals by being patient.I've had squirrels play tag across my legs while turkey hunting. Chickadees have landed on my arrow while bowhunting, and steelhead have swam into my legs while stalking a pool.

I've tried to teach my boy to step slowly and softly in the woods. Watch, listen, and learn.
