Do you have to pump water in there or is there an elevation drop from one end to the other?

there is about a 3 foot elevation drop over 1100 feet. and a small spring fed creek runs through it. so i can raise and lower the level at will via an outlet structure on the low end.

Looks great. I'm getting ready to start a waterfowl habitat project on my property. For reference, what is the acreage? Thanks!

Looks great. Just wish I was still on the train. I could drop in some time. Years ago I had a doctor's appointment and our mainline ran in front of his office so I just stopped the train and kept my appointment. You couldn't do that today! LOL.

no, you certainly couldn't. love watching the freighters go by while we're waiting on the next flight of ducks. I've been meaning to take a sharpie with me to the pits and write down the engine numbers to see how many of the same engines go by over a season. maybe i'll remember this year.
